Concerto conducted an analysis of the debates and discussions between 26 July and 20 August 2023 relating to the planning of a West African military intervention in Niger. The analysis was carried out in Nigeria and Ghana. More than 26,000 tweets (based on geolocation data) were analysed over the period to assess how public opinion in these countries reacted to their country’s participation in this potential intervention.
