Concerto conducted an analysis of debates and discussions between 1 June and 12 July 2023 related to the Malian authorities’ request for a withdrawal of MINUSMA troops. The analysis was carried out in four West African countries (Mali, Burkina Faso, Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire). Over 4,200 tweets (based on geolocation data) were analysed over the period to assess how public opinion in these countries reacted to the issue.
