The presidential election held on 15 July resulted in a landslide victory for Paul Kagamé, the incumbent president, with a score of 99.18%. This result surpasses his previous electoral successes, notably the 98.79% obtained in 2017, 95.05% in 2003, and 93.08% in 2010.
